Neha Sengupta

Neha Sengupta is the Director of Research and Development at Inception, a G42 company, where she leads the bilingual large language model (LLM) team. She has played a pivotal role in the development of the Jais Arabic-centric LLM family and drives research on applying LLMs to non-English languages, with a particular focus on Arabic. 

Her work spans advancing agentic solutions and integrating LLMs into diverse downstream applications across English, Arabic and other languages. Sengupta joined Inception in 2018 after completing her PhD at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, and previously spent three years at IBM Research Labs in India.
